Superb black-painted mahogany finish, much appreciated in the studio for its discretion. Powerful and bi-amplified (50+25 Watts RMS), equipped with a 13cm (5in) bass driver and a bass-reflex port on the front for easy placement close to the listening point, a new neodymium dome tweeter (1in) and new electronics for even greater speed, dynamics and presence.

Neutrality, Power and Balance

We particulary worked on the neutrality and harmonic balance of our speakers. The Pro5 v4 incorporates a new woofer with glass fibre cone, a new neodymium dome tweeter and new electronics for even greater speed, dynamics and presence. Coupled with the Pro 10S v4 subwoofer, the Prodipe Pro5 v4 offers Studio listening at an unprecedented price/performance ratio. Each speaker is bi-amplified for optimal power distribution, bringing real balance to the system...

Fibreglass woofer and active filtering

The woofer is now fitted with a glass fibre cone. The addition of fiberglass membranes to all of our speakers has resulted in an increase in speed and dynamics, frequency response and a strikingly natural sound when listening.

Active filtering has undergone a complete revision to ensure that the separation frequencies do not cause bumps or accidents.

The cabinet is made from high-density wood to ensure consistent sound quality and avoid unwanted vibrations. Unlike many other references, we have placed the bass reflex port on the front to improve bass decompression, making it much easier to position the speaker.

"I have to admit that I'm still surprised by the effectiveness of these speakers. Despite their small size, these monitors deliver very generous bass. Impressive but without being too 'slobbery'.

They allow me to control a mix without any problem, particularly in terms of the balance of the instruments and more particularly the Bass instruments (bass drum, bass...). They are amplified and project a good level of sound if required.

They have all the necessary connection formats (XLR, Jack 6.35 (balanced) and RCA) and a volume knob... so all the advantages of the 'biggest' for an incredible price. I use them as a complement to my main listening, and I admit that I really enjoy listening to a mix on the Pro5s.

They're not anayway close to disappoint me... "
