Neutral, faithful reproduction!

A neutral, detailed response with boost clarity for optimum reproduction of vocal timbre. A low proximity effect and a directional pattern that's not too tight, giving the singer a certain freedom of movement in front of the microphone, a bit like in the studio.

Géraldine Allouche

Vocal coach (Amel Bent, Patrick Fiori, The Voice...)

"The MC-1 Lanen microphone reproduces your tone perfectly, bringing a great deal of warmth to your voice.
It's rich and very precise harmonically, and issuitable for all vocal styles, song, jazz, musical comedy, metal...
All the artists in my studio are amplified with the MC-1... Thank you Prodipe!"

A microphone that meets all professional requirements

An ultra-precise specification, for a microphone with a straight, very natural sound, and which unquestionably possesses the same qualities of robustness and immunity to feedback as a certain 'true ancestor'.

Francis Cabrel

"In Extremis Tour"

The 'research and development' was carried out in France, in active collaboration with the indispensable French sound engineer Ludovic Lanen

"When we decided to create the MC-1, we drew up a very precise specification. I wanted a microphone with a neutral response, without the presence hum characteristic of the most common vocal mic, which helps some voices but overly harshens others, including that of my favourite singer.

I was also looking for a response that was as close as possible to that of a condenser mic, but without the unpleasant reaction of condenser mics to violent whistling.

I needed a microphone with a low proximity effect and a directional pattern that wasn't too tight, giving the singer a certain freedom of movement in front of the microphone, a bit like in the studio.

We succeeded!
