Developed under the direction of Ludovic Lanen, the VL21-C is specially designed for the recording and sound reinforcement of violins and violas.
Supplied with 2 violin/viola clamps to hold the microphone firmly in place on your instrument, and with a mini-XLR/XLR devolving adaptor (48V phantom power required for wired use).
Fitted with an exceptionally fine electret cell, it will capture all the dynamics and nuances of your playing.

In a microphone, the part that cannot suffer from any mediocrity is the cell. Prodipe has developed, in France, an electret cell that will capture all the dynamics and nuances of your playing.
Its high linearity will perfectly respect the timbre and sonority of your violin or viola.

We preferred to design two clamps with openings of different sizes rather than a single adjustable one: the great disparity in the size of violins and violas called for a support that was as adaptable as possible.
- The two new rubber clamps allow the 21 cell to be positioned without any modification to the instrument, so that it can be easily placed at the heart of the recording, ensuring perfect pick-up for a precise, natural sound
- As well as simplifying the mechanics (anyone who's ever lost a small screw on a dark stage will understand), these two clamps ensure ideal fixing, without damaging or scratching your instrument.
